Meet The Team

Hamish is the managing director and founder of the company which he has operated from our current location for over 30 years.

He splits his time between the workshop and front of house.

Hamish is a MOT Tester of class 4, 5 & 7 vehicles. Most happy with his hands dirty wielding a hammer.

Dean is a chartered accountant who runs the front office and car sales. Having been around the garage his whole life Dean joined full time in November 2017 and has over seen the business going from strength to strength.

Almost everything successful within these 4 walls can be attributed to him in some way.

Ally joined West End Garage from school and served his apprenticeship here. Most recently he qualified as a MOT tester for class 4 & 7 vehicles and is also qualified in air conditioning.

Ally is a highly skilled curler who has represented Scotland.

In his spare time he helps out on the family farm.

Stuart is our longest serving employee and joined West End Garage in the middle of 2000. He is responsible for tyres, exhaust and wheel alignments.

He is a "munro bagger" who is happiest when up a hill somewhere.

Bill joined West End Garage at the start of 2014 and is a class 1, 2, 4 & 7 MOT tester. He has carried out a range of roles within the motor trade.

Bill spends his spare time keeping his family's fleet of vehicles on the road or working on his own cars and motorbikes.
